ELECTRON MICROSCOPY PLATFORM

The platform of Electron MIcroscopy of the UMR9019 at Gustave Roussy is at the heart of cancer research, offering cutting-edge technologies for subcellular and molecular imaging. It meets the growing need for detailed analysis of the mechanisms involved in cancer, supporting both fundamental and clinical research. With our current instruments and expertise we can provide services in moecular and cellular imaging using TEM and multiple protocols adapted to many applications.
The Electron Microscopy Platform offers two main services:
-Molecular Imaging
  • Impacts on DNA metabolism
  • Impacts on chromosomal region
  • Direct effect on chromatin, DNA, and RNA
  • Structural aspects, assembly mechanisms, and identification of interaction sites
-Cellular Imaging
  • Cell entry, intracellular trafficking, targeting of a therapeutic agent
  • Effect on cellular functions (morphology of organelles)
  • Effect on nuclear structures
